Jenny has been working in child care since the opening of Busy Kids in 2011 and obtained her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care in 2013.
Jenny is currently studying her ECT qualification to be completed towards the end of 2024.
​
Prior to this Jenny ran her own business in Adelaide in Accounting/Bookkeeping for small business owners.
​
Jenny and David have two children who both go to high school, and the family enjoy the lifestyle which a rural town brings. The only thing they say is missing in Broken Hill is the ‘ocean’, which is where they spend most of their summer holidays.
We have a great team at Busy Kids and wonderful families who join us each day.

Kristy - Assistant Director

Studying ECT
Kristy has been working in child care since the beginning of 2002. During this time Kristy has worked at Bugdlie Children’s Service, Broken Hill & Menindee Family Worker Service, Lilliput Early Learning Centre and Busy Kids since our opening in October 2011.
​
Kristy has a wide range of qualifications including a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Certificate II in Computer Applications for the Office and a Certificate II in Information Technology.
Kristy is now working on her ECT qualification and will be completed towards the end of 2024.
Kristy is our Assistant Director at Busy Kids and our go-to for most everything.
​
Kristy has lived in Broken Hill all of her life, and has a lot of close family living here.
When not working, Kristy enjoys spending time with her three girls, partner, family and friends.
Chloe - Baby Room Leader

Chloe started in childcare and Busy Kids in April 2021. Since starting she has completed her Certificate lll in Early Childhood Education and Care and is continuing her studies by working towards a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Chloe has always had a passion for working with children and loves being able to work in all the different rooms. Chloe enjoys watching each child explore the centre and the activities/experiences set out to extend on their interests.
​
As a child, Chloe spent a lot of time on a station, she loved exploring and the freedom of being outdoors. This is something she tries to reflect in the experiences set out for the children.
Teagan - Toddler Room Leader

Teagan has been working at Busy Kids since October 2017, and has completed her Certificate lll in Early Childhood Education and Care. She began working in the Toddler room, moved to Lead the Preschool and is now back leading the Toddler Room and she enjoys every moment with the kids.

Teagan has always had a passion for working with children, and recognises all of the Busy Kids children being absolutely amazing.
Teagan admits, there is nothing she loves more then seeing the children grow and learn to their full potential. (Except of course, her 3 beautiful children)
India - Preschool Room Educator

India began working at the centre in July 2021, during covid and lockdowns. She had to learn the ropes quickly and also how to adapt with no prior child care centre experience, and did an amazing job.
​
Prior to her move to Broken Hill, India lived in SA with her parents. India enjoys spending time with her family and also enjoys being outside, finding new and different activities to do in her spare time.
​
India has completed her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and has already moved onto studying her Diploma.

Alicia - Preschool Room Leader

Alicia has been working in childcare since November 2017.
She completed her Diploma in Early Education and Care in July 2019.
Alicia has worked across all rooms at Busy Kids, and she loves watching the children in every age group grow and learn.
​
Prior to working in childcare, Alicia worked in her family's business while raising her own 2 gorgeous girls.
​
Once both children were at school, she was able to pursue her dream of studying and working in childcare.

Caeron - Toddler Room Educator

Caeron has returned to the childcare industry after a 15-year hiatus; she has always enjoyed working and interacting with children and has decided it was time to come back.
Caeron has her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, and is working towards gaining her Diploma.
​
Caeron has one child who is ASD and ADHD diagnosed which has made her passionate about helping children with special needs to be able to experience childcare like any other child.
​
In her spare time Caeron likes to bake and decorate cakes as a hobby as well as spending time with her son and husband.
